Pineapple Sea Cucumber

I don’t know why Sea Cucumbers fascinate me. But they seem to stop me when I see them underwater.

Thelenota ananas, also known as pineapple sea cucumber, oloturia ananas, tripang, prickly skin cucumber, pointed teat sea cucumber, armoured sea cucumber, giant sea cucumber, sand fish or prickly redfish is a species of sea cucumber.

I spotted this Pineapple Sea Cucumber in the Tubbataha Natural Park. The marine park is located in the middle of the Sula Sea in the Philippines.
