Scuba Diver Magazine featuring Manta Point as Video of the Week

Scuba Diver Magazine – Video of the Week

,

In 2019, my underwater video filmed at the iconic Manta Point off Nusa Penida, Bali, was selected as Video of the Week by the editors at Scuba Diver Magazine — now part of Divernet. It was a privilege to have this footage featured alongside standout underwater videos from around the world, bringing the raw beauty of the Nusa islands to a global diving audience.

About Scuba Diver Magazine & Divernet

Following its 2021 acquisition of Divernet.com, RORK Media maintained both ScubaDiverMag.com and Divernet.com as separate publications for divers. The company later merged the two platforms, retiring ScubaDiverMag.com and moving ongoing diving coverage to Divernet.com.

Manta Point, Nusa Penida, Bali, Indonesia

Manta Point is one of the most iconic dive sites in Indonesia. Located off the southwestern coast of Nusa Penida, it is one of the few places in the world where you can reliably encounter Manta Rays year round. The Mantas are drawn to the area by the nutrient-rich, upwelling waters that make this stretch of the Bali Sea a natural feeding ground.

The site is accessible to both scuba divers and snorkelers, making it a must-visit for anyone in the Nusa Penida area. Watching these graceful giants glide effortlessly through the water is an unforgettable experience at any depth.
