Underwater Photography in Komodo National Park, Indonesia
Few dive destinations deliver the same mix of reef drama, macro surprises, and pelagic encounters as Komodo National Park, Indonesia. One dive can give you a reef manta ray sweeping through current over a coral bommie, while the next reveals a painted frogfish, pygmy seahorse, or tube-dwelling anemone with shrimp hiding in plain sight. That…

Creatures in Underwater Caverns – Diving Gili Biaha and Gili Tepekong
I dove at Gili Biaha and Gili Tepekong with Atlantis Diving Bali. The efficient operation included hotel transfers and discounted gear use. Despite poor visibility, we spotted sharks, nudibranchs, and vibrant coral. The dives featured strong currents but provided a wealth of marine life, making for an unforgettable experience.

Sharks in Black & White and Color
As I mentioned in my last post, I traveled to the Bahamas to dive Tiger Beach in the Bahamas. I met our dive liveaboard charter, the Dolphin Dream in Palm Beach, Florida and sailed first to Grand Bahama Island to clear immigration. We did not spend anytime on land in the Bahamas. We went straight…

Swimming with Wild Spotted Dolphins in the Bahamas
A few of my friends encouraged me to grab a last-minute spot on the M/V Dolphin Dream liveaboard. The purpose of this dive trip was to visit the infamous Tiger Beach in the Bahamas. Tiger Beach is considered one of the best place in the world to get up-close and personal with Tiger Sharks. After…

Morning Dives in Tavernier, Florida
A few weeks ago, a few friends and I made plans to visit dive sites where Goliath Groupers congregate off the coast of West Palm Beach in Florida. This would be a quick weekend “dive and dash” consisting of about 4-6 dives. Unfortunately, a hurricane ripped through the area a week before our visit. So,…

Scuba Diving Tulamben
After leaving Nusa Lembongan, my next dive destination was Tulamben, located in the north-eastern region of Bali. Tulamben is north of the Nusa Islands. However, before I headed to Tulamben, I decided to spend a few days in Seminyak at the Dash Hotel. Note, there might be a more efficient way to travel from Nusa Lembongan to…
