Wildlife Wednesday : Banded Guitarfish
The Banded Guitarfish, found off Cabo San Lucas, is a species within the Rhinobatidae family, inhabiting East Pacific waters from California to Mazatlan. This calm species resembles sharks and thrives in nutrient-rich waters during Winter and Spring, preferring rocky or sandy ocean areas. Observers can safely dive near them.
