Find a Rainbow

The internet tells me today is National Find A Rainbow Day. I didn’t find one today but I did spot one last year on a St. Lawrence River Dive trip. We were diving in between Ontario, Canada and New York, United States.

FROM THE DEPTHS

Most people think of tiger sharks as invincible apex predators. But off the coast of Fuvahmulah, I found a different story. While exploring the reefs in Grand Cayman, I ran into this member of the grouper family. The Coney (Cephalopholis fulva) is known for its incredible color variations, but this reddish-brown phase is a classic look.

    I have a friend from college that lives up on the St. Lawrence River. They get some really brilliant sunsets in summer.
