Morays Eels constantly open and close their mouths, a behavior that is often perceived as a threat, but the action simply moves water through their gills for respiration.

Yes, they freak out me also because I know they have pretty bad eyesight. And if they accidently take a finger, I’ll never get it back. LOL!

OMG, I love this photo! The colours are spectacular and I happen to be a huge moray fan. I find them endlessly fascinating to watch.
There coral and marine life in Oman is amazing. I can’t wait until they open up again.
