Amazingly better than seeing them in a tank in a grocery store. When I was a kid, we could pick them up out of the tide pools in La Jolla, by the back of their heads, avoiding the spines of their tail. We always put them back. Only the grown ups liked to eat them, live, throwing them in boiling water. They would emit a high pitched whistle. This traumatized me as a kid.

Yeah, it makes me sad when you walk into a restaurant/ grocery store and you see them piled up in a tiny tank. I’m glad Grenada has reduced the allowable time they can be taken out of the water.
