Looking up! The Blue-Spotted Stingray (Taeniura lymma) is a striking presence on Red Sea reefs, especially along Egypt’s coast, where its vivid electric-blue spots stand out against sandy bottoms and coral ledges.

    Aren’t they magnificent. Wonderful videos. I have seen them do slow dives under approaching ferries and always wonder if they survived.

      They generally don’t move that fast but they can move pretty fast when needed. I’ve seen a few chased by reef sharks.
