The Waxing Gibbous Over Mahé
On my final night at Blue Hill Guesthouse in Mahé, Seychelles, I captured a handheld shot of a waxing gibbous moon from the terrace. The bright moon, overhead and clear against the night sky, revealed detailed craters. The view from the guesthouse showcased the stunning landscape of Victoria and surrounding areas.

The trip began with perfect conditions, highlighted by a mesmerizing, massive school of Soldierfish gliding through the crystal-clear blue on their very first dive.

Shooting the Moon – Seychelles
While waiting to dive in the Seychelles, I enjoyed the night sky from Blue Hill hotel on Mahé Island. The hotel’s elevation provided a perfect view of the shipping port and clear skies for astrophotography. With my 100–400mm lens, I captured stunning celestial details. More diving adventures to come!

Keep Your Eye On The Camera
While diving off the coast of the Seychelles, I came across a tightly packed school of soldierfish. With their vivid reddish and silver coloring and oversized eyes, they’re surprisingly photogenic and usually unbothered by divers. Luckily, they all faced the camera at the same time. It felt like they were posing for the perfect group…
