In Mozambique, I encountered Longfin Spadefish, also known as Platax teira, in their natural habitat. These ray-finned fish have a unique disc-like shape with silvery bodies and dark vertical bands. They thrive in the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific, typically in coastal reefs and lagoons, and are known for their social nature.
