Bahamas Aggressor – Exuma Cays and Pigs on a Beach Review

A few friends and I booked the Bahamas Aggressor to dive the Exuma Cays in late October. The Nassau based boat crew and dive staff were very friendly and helpful during the week of scuba diving. This video highlights all of the wonderful sea life life we observed.

Pig Beach – Exuma Cays, Bahamas

We booked this trip specific for diving. However, we were giving the option to skip two dives and visit a beach where a family of pigs live. Pig Beach or some call it Pig Island is located in the Exuma Islands in the Bahamas. We were lucky because the family of pigs were growing and there many new piglets staying close to their parents. I shot this using a Sealife DC2000 and edited with FCPx.

We also saw plenty of Caribbean Reef Sharks during the week at various site. Most of this underwater video was shot near a site called Austin Smith Wreck.

Loggerhead Turtle at the Blue Hole Bahamas

On our last dive, we observed this very large Loggerhead Turtle at a site called the Lost Blue Hole.

Mithrax spinosissimus, also known as the West Indian spider crab, channel clinging crab, reef or spiny spider crab, or coral crab, is a species of spider crab is found in South Florida and across the Caribbean Islands. I observed this crab near the Exumas Island in the Bahamas on a night dive.

    1. Thanks. The pigs have no predators on the island and there are a ton of tourist that come to feed them each day. So, they grow to a pretty nice size.

  1. I seriously love your site.. Pleasant colors & theme.
Did you develop this amazing site yourself? Please reply back as I’m planning to create my own personal blog and would like to
