K2 is a popular scuba diving site located off the coast of Gili Banta in Indonesia. Manta Rays are often found hiding behind scattered coral heads.
Manta Rays can be found year round in the Komodo National Park. I’ve been told November through May is the best time to observe large populations of mantas. I filmed the video above in December.

So beautiful and graceful. We swam with the mantas a few times in Kona, Hawai’i. I just love the mantas.
