What a weird and challenging year! Today, I ended the year in Mexico with two relaxing dives at Cenotes Dos Ojos and El Pit with Sofia from Blue Life Scuba Diving. Here are a few photos from the dives.

What a great way to end the year. Mexico is such a great place to go diving. I’ve only ever been to Cozumel, but would love to dive in a cenote someday. Looks like such an incredible experience. I haven’t gone diving in over a year now thanks to the pandemic. and I’ve been itching to get back in and under the water.

My only other option besides staying home was the Maldives but I couldn’t find reasonable airfare.
I don’t think you can go wrong diving either side via Playa del Carmen or Cozumel. If you go back to Cozumel, you can always do a day trip to the Cenotes. It’s a longer day, because you have to take the ferry crossing but most dive shop will pick up at the dock.
I hope vaccine mfg’s increase supply so everyone can travel and dive freely!
